SpreadLift

Frequently asked questions

What is SpreadLift?

SpreadLift runs lifting spreadsheet programs on your phone. It's a web app (a PWA) that works in any browser. It keeps your sheet's own percentage and training-max maths, and it gets kg and IPF plates exactly right.

Do I need to install anything or make an account?

No. Open it in your phone's browser and start. You don't need an install or an account to begin.

Will it change my program's numbers?

No. SpreadLift keeps the sheet's own %/training-max maths instead of replacing it with its own. If a number looks wrong, check the sheet first, because that's where the maths comes from.

Which sheets can I import?

Lifting spreadsheet programs built on percentages or a training max.

SpreadLift is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of nSuns or GZCL; names used descriptively.

Does it work in kg?

Yes. kg and IPF plates are first-class. The Plate Calculator (kg & lb) shows how to load the bar per side. It has a 2.5 kg collars setting, which is off by default. You can choose a 20 kg, 15 kg or custom bar (5–30 kg or 10–65 lb).

How does SpreadLift round weights?

If your sheet has its own rounding rule (MROUND, FLOOR or CEILING), SpreadLift follows it. Otherwise, working sets are rounded to the nearest loadable step, which is 2.5 kg or 5 lb per lift by default, and exact halfway cases round up. Your training max is kept unrounded, and only the working sets are rounded. See training max rounding explained.

What's free?

These are free forever:

How much does it cost after that?

  • Yearly: USD 29
  • Lifetime: USD 49

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every plan, including Lifetime, can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. See refunds.

Where are my workout logs stored?

Only in on-device storage, in your browser on your phone. They aren't sent to us. The only personal data we collect is your email address. See privacy.

How do I delete my data?

Clear SpreadLift's site data in your browser settings. Your logs live only in on-device storage, so this deletes them. To have your email deleted, write to [email protected].

How does SpreadLift compare with Hevy, Strong, Boostcamp, Liftosaur or Crucible?

We wrote an honest, sourced comparison. It includes where those apps do better.

Is this training advice?

No. SpreadLift runs the program you choose. Check your numbers, load carefully and train safely.
